People bashing locked fences on day 2
Without any ability to protect ourselves as leather wouldn't have been done for another 3 hours. Why is this possible?

this is why you spend the first two days in the caves you ninny
Palisades also take a good amount of time to become unbashable. It’s less about being able to make invincible walls fast (which would make griefing worse) and more about avoiding detection. Only monkeys level and pave before pali

Where you spawn, other people spawn there too, seemingly tending toward clusters. I've never had much luck going unmolested anywhere near where I entered the world, and in my experience, the first day is best spent traveling as far as you can. Pick a direction and travel until you reach land that has zero signs of habitation, and then travel some more. The worlds are huge, go far. Then I settle in a cave far from water and leave zero signs of habitation anywhere on the surface. If you did this and still got plundered, you're very unlucky.
