When picking up herbs they first go into Wicker Picker. Cool!
They do not auto stack. Not cool.
If you stack an item in the Wicker Picker they will now stack..!
If the Wicker Picker is full of non stacked items, it will put new items into your pockets and not auto stack.

That's because it's a Wicker Picker, and not a Whacker Stacker!
Seriously tho, it's a common theme between specialized containers (see Kreel, for example) and jorb said he's working on the issue of autostacking in such containers so it'll probably work for the WIcker Picker too. I.e. "known issue".
