Physiognomy and Sophistry

Post by dUmbins »

Wherein lies the sinner’s blackened soul?
His chest-cavity, his mind?
What hurts?
What leads a man to fear?
Death is rot, and ugliness is rottenness.
Let each assemble evil from the broken bits of love.
Let each look in the mirror so to find,
I shall despise.
I have crabs.
I'd hardly call anything the 120 Days of Sodom of our times. » special thanks to nutters

Let each look in the mirror so to find,
I will love them all the same.
But will they still be able to love themselves?

I have seen serendipity
in the curves of the heavenly bodies, and the jaw-lines of each orbital spin
and the broken bits of bones that all float frozen through the void.

There is harmony and symmetry within the shapes of all that's arbitrary,
so be wary: build foundations not on sand that seems like stone.
Those who wish the bones to lead, and so they read them, and the stinking offal's signs,
wish not to lead themselves, but to be led;
the temporarily embarrassed double-chins and canthally askew, so I ask you: what balance can there be sustained in ice?
As we do all approach oblivion,
shall your own face not suffice?
Or have you felt the shame you seek to breed; learnt it pays
not to be nice?

No beauty lasts forever,
so the statues all are false.
Life groans in pain, decays, and finds new blemishes.
Will you be so fastened down before you rot?
Or have you found ways to decide, on all's behalf, that they shall not.
That may feel like control.
It is a hole.

Life groans in pain, decays, and finds new blemishes.
And yet that very pain is so vital to life itself.
The hand withdraws from the fire just as our lungs gasp for air after a dive,
but how sweet is the water after walking through the desert?
And so light gives rise to darkness, but where will you cast your gaze?

Player versus Player. Player versus Environment?

What of Player vs Played? You’ve fooled yourself, you misdirected miscreant! What hope to dwell in somefish else’s pond?

A pond is a pond, and it will fight for its independence.
I’m not even sure a pond exist, forget about it belonging to anyone.
