So doesn't this mean that some of the bigger villages can just...feed up a char, doesn't even necessarily have to be a char they're gonna use much, just feed them everything and anything with the idea being to dump stats into them which will then make them and the rest of the server get a fucking huge hunger drop as a result of this stat dump char having an overwhelming stat lead compared to the rest of the servers characters?
Hey, I'm not complaining, if that's how it is then that's how it is, we'll all essentially benefit from it, but I just wanna know if that's gonna be how this works. Because I don't see why not. Giving 1 char all your leftover and not really needed food to one char to do this, not giving a fuck about their hunger bar but knowing that through this char your OTHER chars can freely eat a lot too because that one char will ensure that all your other chars hunger bars will drop considerably on Friday. Whatever big village takes on the burden of doing this is essentially benefitting everyone at the end of the day, not just themselves.
Am I evaluating this correctly or am I way off?
EDIT - Also fuck, I posted this in the wrong forum section, shoulda been in How Do I instead of Critiques and Ideas I guess.

Re: New Hunger changes
I have a feeling you started off with some kind of grievance, moved on to explaining, ended up with placating the original system. Do you actually have any ideas that can improve it? Or just venting off that you suck and the top stat player is a hoax and gotta be nerfed?
Eat up, man, stuff yourself, gorge on suspicious plates and profit. quest to reduce your 476% hunger. get killed by random speedy bear to prove the point: git gud.

Your feelings and analysis are way off. You're not very good at this.lordgrunt wrote:I have a feeling you started off with some kind of grievance, moved on to explaining, ended up with placating the original system. And you're not particularly good at reading either because I followed up by saying I quite like this change because I'm a benefactor just as much as anybody else from other people creating a dump stat char.

Re: New Hunger changes
Bold of you to assume this "determined as a function of your distance to the highest character attribute server lead" had more than 10 minutes of thought put into it. Bold of you to assume jorb's idea of catch-up isn't to just slow that top character by 10% and give a bottom of the barrel character a 10% boost (which is probably what's happening lmao)
Questing is still bypassing it completely btw. Hunger is retarded.

Well it doesn't work as advertised. It's not the amount reduced that's calculated, but your hunger is set to some specific number according to your highest stat. So my village mate who had 1.5x of my satiation got the same satiation value as me after the reset, because we had the same highest stat.Crest wrote: >The amount reduced is now, additionally, determined as a function of your distance to the highest character attribute server lead. It sounds easier than it's done but if anything - I can volunteer to be fed like that.Crest wrote: So doesn't this mean that some of the bigger villages can just...feed up a char, doesn't even necessarily have to be a char they're gonna use much, just feed them everything and anything with the idea being to dump stats into them which will then make them and the rest of the server get a fucking huge hunger drop as a result of this stat dump char having an overwhelming stat lead compared to the rest of the servers characters?
Personally I think it's a good system, on a long run it becomes harder to get stats for top player than the mediocre player, so you can catch-up easier. It's like tax the rich but different.

Villages already did this anyway, they're called miners.Crest wrote:So doesn't this mean that some of the bigger villages can just...feed up a char, doesn't even necessarily have to be a char they're gonna use much, just feed them everything and anything with the idea being to dump stats into them which will then make them and the rest of the server get a fucking huge hunger drop as a result of this stat dump char having an overwhelming stat lead compared to the rest of the servers characters?
