I say that the attempt by Sodom to create diplomatic relations is a farce, a lie, and is nothing more than a way to clear cut the Russian's and other non-English speaking people, like so many noobs do to the tree's, a way to find where they are flush them out and destroy any semblance of an organized resistance to the oppressive, arrogant and demeaning attitude they have to others.

Trust...... lol, read their history of previous posts from the previous world to this and you will find that no matter what they say now doesn't really matter, they can and probably will turn on you in a heartbeat.

Diplomacy has worked before and I have managed to avert a decent number of conflicts through it so no. Otherwise this would just be all PvP and no sandbox. Hell, why not make it Rvr (realm vs realm) if you are so intent that diplomacy is not viable.

Well first of all, they wouldn't be making such a large post if they were aiming to just destroy them. That would just be a declaration of jihad. Second, the 2nd world was Wayneville which they were inteionally be the bad guys. That was the 2nd world and this is the 3rd world where they now play a different world.

as your join date clearly indicates, you know everything about the political struggles and alliances in W2. as we pointed out in several posts, sodom was founded in another spirit then the villages and cities in W2. former enemies worked together on a new municipal project and it turned out to be one of the major political powers in W3. we had some inner difficulties, but with a player base that big as ours, some discussions are sometimes inevitably, at least, when starting such a major project.

we want to have some diplomatic relations, since there were and are some missunderstandings due to the language barrier and such. diplomatic relation does NOT mean: "hey, where do you live? give me a CR sign into your village - oops raided, my bad. sorry."

we already have relations to many foreign language speaking traders and villages, none of them raided by us, as well as contacts or even alliances to some other major faction. and since you are clearly pissed off by the warnings and helpfull posts in your village thread, i won´t judge you as a moron here, but as a little misguided person, who will hopefully see the light sometimes.

Please keep it out of this thread non the less. Through all of world 3 we were nothing but a peaceful power, willing to help other against criminals and only interested in trading, not raiding.

This alone is a significant piece of evidence that Diplomacy in your view simply means "we are right you are wrong" and "do it our way or hit the highway".

We understand that Russians are not a single village and that this will likely involve negotiations with many different parties. Currently the public views all Russians together but we do know this is not the case and wish to be able to distinguish between your unique villages and respond appropriately. We are not racists. We do not hate Russians. We believe you are a decent, intelligent and reasonable people trying to play a game and protect your own while suffering difficulty with a language barrier and we are doing this because we desire to help you communicate with the world at large because we believe that doing so can benefit all parties involved. Perhaps even lines of trade, assistance, and hopefully even friendship may be established.
