It is in my understanding that Ivalice is associated with Fort Okami. My friends and I have settled nearby, and being a mostly Agrarian society, we would like access to a mine for
a) Scythes, b) Pickaxes, and c) Multiple keys for a future palisade gate ( we are relatively few )
We were wondering if you would give us, or a representative of ours, access to the mine at Fort Okami.
-Sincerely

When you make the gate to a palisade, a key magically appears. But, yeah, you do need metal nuggets for copies of that key.

Okami is a tin mine, you can't make any of the tools with just soft metal. We would be glad to trade you scythes and pickaxes at the going market rate if you wish. (believe the new sodom thread rates are very fair).

We have done our research and know this. We have considered many options ranging from having multiple gates to always having one person inside our base with control over the key. We have however deemed this to be too hindering in our efforts to gather and expand, and in some cases is simply too costly.
We have too few people to even found a village, and even if we did have the required 5, we don't have 30,000 LP to spare. We recently went on an expedition north and west of our current location with a few jars containing Rustroot in an attempt to locate a mine we could gather from. We however were unable to find one.
What kind of commodities would you expect for such goods?
Edit: There are various things that are not covered in the New Sodom value thread. I believe it would be more realistic if you gave a list of things your Villages require, and would be willing to trade tools for, and we shall see what we can procure. We will continue this discussion in PMs as your recruitment thread is admittedly the wrong place to discuss trading. ( Sorry n' stuff )
