Re: Sodom recruiting!
A shift in the balance of power I feel, young Padawans. At last. I was afraid Sodom would never jump on this train, but now there is a chance that the battle for Q (and QQ) can still be won.

Re: Sodom recruiting!
We're already winning the battle of Q, maybe not QQ though...

Good luck on your great new city Sodom, to tell you the truth, if I wasn't running Bevelle, I would surely apply. I love doing big projects like this.

Re: Sodom recruiting!
Quick update.
We already have recruited quite some people and are currently paving the new parts of town. Sodom will be double its current size after we have finished and we already have some plans to not stop there. I guess we have already paved about 50% by now, so work is going pretty quick since everybody available is helping.
Still looking for more people though, since there are 36 personal plots to be filled. So don't hesitate to apply, you can even bring your friends or your whole town.
Some people might be wondering why I never answered to their PMs. Well that is because I am not going to accept you. We have always been paranoid and although we have opened up our recruitment policy with this thread quite a bit, we are still going to check your applications. If some other member of Sodom tells me it would be a bad idea to recruit you, if your application sucks ("I want to join and some equipment too") or if we suspect you to just be an alt/spy account of someone that might cause trouble, I will not let you into Sodom. I might wrong some people with this and I apologize for that, but better be safe than sorry. I also won't bother to write everyone I do not accept a PM. Got too much too organize already to spend time on thorough explanations why you can't come over.
To make me feel like you are worthy to join it might help to write a little bit about yourself. What you have done so far, what your skills are, expectations for the future etc. Does not have to include all that, I just want to get a first impression on who I am dealing with. I have accepted quite a few people I have never heard of before, so it is not like I am shutting down the majority of applications, it is even the other way around.
That being said I hope for plenty of more people joining, so we can make Sodom the biggest town in the hearthlands once again.
Pics of progress will be put in here as soon as the minimap updates and the server is up.

Re: Sodom recruiting!
How do you guys manage the food supply? I imagine building a new city would cost a tremendous amount of stamina=energy(food). With the 100% or so sudden rise in population there must be a very large new number of mouths to feed. Did you have lots of food ready in storage or...?
Answer depending on whether you consider this information confidencial or not ofc

Re: Sodom recruiting!
Nothing confidential about it I guess. We have plenty of food stored and the new parts of the city are also built on grassland. So lots of cows and sheep there we can just run through a meatgrinder to supply even more. So far nobody had to starve
