the oddest noob

Postby kermit1152 » Wed Aug 20, 2014 8:57 am

riding in a boat one day, i come across a fresh fox kill and some scents in a LOT of noob claims. I track them to an unguarded hearth fire.Image Over 100 scents and no wall. It would be best at that time for me to not leave any scents, so i didnt summon. A few days later, i start going back to summon. On the way i track the perpetrator to discover he is online. After i get there i start chasing. He goes around a cliff and gets in a boat. abandoned my boat earlier but fortunately there was another one nearby his. after a few minutes of chasing he manages to get away and later logged out . Image I head back to his claim, and start camping the hearthfires outside thinking one of them is his. They were before. The chieftain of my village also decides to come camp. While waiting around, i start looking at the assumed noob's stuff. To my surprise, i found a q164 bronze steed and a few q301 poppy flowers in a cupboard. Image After the chieftain got here, we decided to summon him. It turned out the hf was moved though . It pointed inside a cave next to the other hf's . So i thought it would be right inside. There were a few hf's near the entrance and we thought for sure it was one of them, but when the chief tracked a scent it turned out it was none of them. So we started walking through the cave and it pointed up a branch of the cavern. At the end was nothing. No exit, no minehole. This is very odd. This guy now has a vault?!. Why wasnt his hf in it a few days earlier. Maybe newly created?. Maybe just under a broken minehole. I dont know. I remembered the first time i was here there were two hf's scents. (looking back now it was likely wherever the other one is now) So i started looking for the other hf's scent. (just across the river, and just outside his claim  ). Every scent pointed in the same direction. :( There seemed to be more than one hf though. Likely going to go back again later to try to kill him while he is online. loot: the steed, the poppy flowers, a few other curios (glimmers and such), four bars of wrought iron, and a keyring with two keys. (dont know what they go to and they are not named in english).

Moral of the story: Have no mercy on noobs because they may have high tier goodies for some reason. :P
