Noobs question: someone can turn him member of a village and he teleport to vclaim? Or his presence at village is needed for this?

To tele to another village without needing tons of agil and low travel weariness he needs to have no hearth fire. Otherwise he would need the village to be close enough for him to tele to with low weariness.

Anyway it seems I hungered myself to death by staying AFK so the gauze would heal me

I logged in with an alt and the village is still intact, so it'd look like I died of "natural causes" indeed.

I might start a new char, but probably wait 'til hafen comes out. Have fun raiding my place!
