it's not rare though, is the point. that's why people aren't posting that they have copper, except in this thread, where we are posting that to refute your claims of it being rare.

I've seen plenty of people say they've never seen a copper vein. Maybe people aren't posting that they have copper because they don't have it? Even on the wiki, there are no pictures of copper veins.

Everyone and every area is different for sure. But Ive prospected thousands of surface level and shitloads of first level and never found copper. Iron and tin galore but not a single copper vein.

I can say that dragon helms were discovered about one month ago (but not crafted, because it was so early that it was not worth it). The screenshot was posted on polish hnh forum on shoutbox.
