Is it OK to dress up animals?

I've seen a lot of pictures of dressed up pigs on this forum recently and I must say that I find it pretty disturbing. We shouldn't anthropomorphize animals, it is very demeaning to them. They are separate creatures with their own culture, and we should not force our own aesthetics on them.

What do you think? Is it OK to dress a pig in green just because you think it looks funny?
