Yes! That would be a great way of finding an animal who has taken off on you and then bled out and died.jordancoles wrote:Could you perhaps give dead animals a different minimap icon? Like x's over their eyes or something?

Thank you
I am planning to take another stab at the alternative ui option soon though. Hopefully it will resolve some of the issues like with queued moves.

One more thing, opening inventory is the tab key, but there's also a toggle for agroing the closest unknown/red player on tab key?
I guess the toggle disables the inventory key, which I use frequently. Could we get the option to change that keybind for autoagro? Perhaps as a bindable hotkey icon?

Re: Amber Client
Update.
New:
I have also uploaded an experimental version of the client - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/371 ... 1.99.0.zip it adds support for full-screen mode (tested only on Linux and Windows), resolution changing, and proper hardware pointers for Mac OS X and Linux.
Any testing would be very much appreciated, as this was quite an intrusive modification... I'll merge it into the mainline client once I feel it's stable enough.
New:
- Show item quality in barter stand windows.
- Simplified opening indicators. See Combat Settings.
- Option to show current keybindings for combat actions. Enabled by default. See Combat Settings. Also now if F keys are selected combat actions will be shown in reverse order to better match the keyboard layout.
- Grayed out icons for dead animals (except aurochs).
- Alarm for localized resources. See Sound Alarms.
- Animal radius not being removed after killing the animal.

Re: Amber Client
Hi, romovs. Thank you for this good client, its features match to all my needs and even more.
After update I can't use some barter stands in Sevilla. I've got this message after crash:
I can use those two stands on default client, both of them are buying nuggets of precious metals.

Re: Amber Client
Hi, tested for an hour... works mostly fine. Noticed 2 issues though:romovs wrote: I have also uploaded an experimental version of the client - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/371 ... 1.99.0.zip it adds support for full-screen mode (tested only on Linux and Windows), resolution changing, and proper hardware pointers for Mac OS X and Linux.

1 - "mine" cursor seems to change its pointer (was more like on the left-bottom edge of pickaxe, now more like on the top of it's handle)
2 - wasn't able to find how to exit from client in full-screen. Alt+F4 does nothing.

There is an Exit button on the main login screen. I should probably put it on the settings window as well so it will be possible to exit without logging out.

Re: Amber Client
Used to use the Ender client a couple years back but decided to try out the Amber client this time given the new default UI setup and am loving it so far (been playing the new character for a little over a week).
I do have a couple of suggestions though, apologies if they've already been mentioned in this thread or are implemented and I'm just missing them though:
- You show the numbers for the stage of growth of trees and bushes, but don't have an option to see when they're harvest-able. I get that have an option like this on all the time would be very annoying with red dots everywhere but being able to turn it on while inside a base with a ton of specially planted bushes and trees would be a lot simpler than right clicking each and every one.
- Is it possible to implement the ability to just shift-click a stockpile to withdraw it? Sometimes if the game is out of focus or even if not it'll play up a bit when typing in the quantity to withdraw, would be a lot easier to just fill your inventory with a click.
Thanks
