Apparently it's not enough since they'd rather wipe and get that money from the early rush instead of making the late game good, maybe more people would sub for longer if they didn't get bored.

Steam is a massive rush of players if it goes well, but after that it dies down. If they decide to do it, I'd say player retention should be the most crucial thing to aim for. Blow the one big go and you don't usually get another chance.

Bring it on, early game is the most fun. Lots of us would like 6-9month world cycles with automatic resets
