Not sure I understand, what do you mean by hotspots?
Make them interactable like normal map icons.
Umm but what are hotspots tho? Like literally what is it? From your post it sounds like it's some sort of resource which is not showing on the minimap (or is showing but not interactable).

I have an errors

and
"mapfile warning: error when locating grid *many random letters and numbers*: java.io.FileNotException: C\Users\*User*\AppData\Roaming\Haven and Hearth\data\5aac2655878ed46d.0 (The process can not access the file because the file is in use by another process)"

Can anyone tell because of what it is? And how fix this?

"%appdata%\roaming\Haven and Hearth" directory was deleted today, and amber client was re-installed.
There is some bug with map saving on Windows machines, which is honestly a PITA for me to fix since I am not using Windows, sorry. I'll try to look into it someday... loftar mentioned he is going to look into it as well so hopefully he will figure it out.

Sorry, web lingo. Hotspot: an area that when clicked will then do something.
HTML example: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3507 ... ound-image

Currently trees, bushes and boulders show up as blue icons that can't be interacted with, I would like to interact with them through the map.

It doesn't exist anymore. Only path for you character can be shown now.
When did they do this? I thought it was a bug with the client since showing player path was generally buggy (shift click walking, bugged paths after getting off of a horse, etc). That's pretty unfortunate it was a really nice feature.

I can confirm that this issue occurs even when running only one client.

How do we remove that?
Clear %appdata%\roaming\Haven and Hearth directory. That will remove any W10 maps as well tho.

How can I do that on a mac? Cannot find the "appdata" folder

Does Amber client not have a gob path feature for other players/creatures? Or am I just not seeing it? :)

Clients no longer know the gob path. If you were to turn it on it'd just be a white dot on the animal or creature now

Was there any fix for this? It's getting hard to play when I can't see my health/stamina

"~/.haven" folder.

Sorry I might have missed that. UI Settings > Reset Windows button

Return to “The Wizards' Tower”
