I'm having some issues with the timer script. I noticed the 48 timer was about 4 hours early, then again today the 24 timer happened about 2 hours earlier.
But just now while running multiple clients I noticed this (note that both are at the same moment and started at the same time):

Could it be the timer progresses faster while offline?

EDIT: The trees are at 60%, so the client that stayed online has the correct timer (the one on the left side).

This is becoming unplayable. How do I reset all maps? I tried removing the maps folder in the amber client to no avail.

The map folder is only cached minimap images. Try seeing if the issue is the same on the default client and if so make a post in the bugs section.

are you running multiple clients of amber or anothre kind of clients? did you use them at same machines or use virtual machines?

Same amber clients on the same machine. The issue happens even if only 1 amber client is running at once at any moment though, as long as it is closed for a certain period of time.
I started a 12 hour timer this morning at around 6:00am, and the timer is now close to 2 hours from completing (it's 3:11 pm) and I've been offline during most of that time, and surely haven't had 2 clients running at once in that period.

Check your Java version. Java 32x bit causes that issue. viewtopic.php?p=534366#p534366
