Re: Game Development: Fighting Quail
sidestep is like, I don't know, seems worse than regain composure in every way, but almost forced to use it since cds on defenses are (maybe were after quick patch) way too long

Forgot to buff regain composure. Will do, but won't restart for that alone.

It wouldn't really make sense to have less local cooldown than global, other than if an attack has no local cooldown at all.synaris wrote:i havnt looked over every ablity, but every attack i looked at had far higher personal cooldowns than global ones.

Perhaps it is worth returning the old combat system and finalizing the new one? It looks too damp and not workable. I would prefer to test this for a few days in valhalla without risking my life.

I hate this already, armour damage/weapon damage is never fun when you cant avoid it.

Why do you feel the need to even comment?

Valhalla produces zero meaningful feedback, so, no.mstya wrote:Perhaps it is worth returning the old combat system and finalizing the new one? It looks too damp and not workable. I would prefer to test this for a few days in valhalla without risking my life.

Newbie and noob do not mean the same thing.
Neither do figuratively and literally.

I disagree. It makes sense that there's some material cost to being involved in combat. It sucked that armors lasted forever.Syndras wrote:I hate this already, armour damage/weapon damage is never fun when you cant avoid it.
If anything, we might consider making armors repairable. I'm also open to the idea that their durability should be further increased. Needs a bit of testing before determining.

That would be an excellent idea. It's definitely beneficial to the game to remove invincible armors one way or another.loftar wrote: If anything, we might consider make armors repairable.
Of another era.
