Updated beta-client with bunch of fixes for UI-scaling.

If you are having problems with client suddenly freezing when starting some animations try this:
  • export map data
  • remove resource cache folder (if you are on windows it should be in <USER_FOLDER>\AppData\Roaming\Haven and Hearth\data\)
  • remove all jar files from client folder
  • be sure to re-download updater or beta updater
  • launch client through updater (or beta-updater) - note it will start slow as it needs to download lots of resources
  • import your maps

the thing I missed is some performance tweaks (tree, animations, flavor, biometrans..), and animals list...

You can already disable flavor objects in the display options.

Great work Ender!
Just wanted to point out that in the icon list function, can you move down with mouse cursor? standard client is possible to hold and scroll down the list, meanwhile in your client i'm selecting things and only able to scroll down using mouse wheel, so if what i'm looking for is on the letter Z... is gonna take me some time to active/deactive the icon (unless i leave the window open).
am i missing something?

Thanks for all the updates.

However i have a problem and wasnt able to fix myself so far.

On every start of the client it seems like all resources are loaded over the internet again which takes quite long. After that everything works fine until i restart the client.
I have the game on an SSD so usually loading should be quite fast.

I dont seem to have this problem with vanilla.

Any ideas what i am doing wrong or what i could try to fix?

Oh, right. I'll look into it.

I have no idea what could be wrong. My client downloads and caches resources in exact same way and place as vanilla one does. Are you sure it is not antivirus or something trying to cleanup after my client?

I have just watched the cache folder while starting up the modified client for the first time today. It downloaded only 15 new elements which are only between 1 and 16 kb.
Still the game startup after choosing the player took like several minutes and resources seemed to load allmost one by one.

I then started vanilla which took like 5-10 seconds but downloaded like 200 new files in that time. The weird thing is, that now also your client it starting fast. Its allmost like it fails to download resources but is running fine when i download resouces with the vanilla.
