Sadly, its too late to change it now. Christianity is not that big thing either and I doubt that many people who play the game are too religious.

As pointed out before, a) There's probably actually quite a few religious people here, and b) It's not the religious people who are affected the most. The more significant impact is that in the West it's considered a family holiday, and people - religious or not - visit their families during this time.
