Yes, sure. But with Russia's response to that being leveling cities, raping and burning people - call me crazy, but somehow it's hard for me to feel sorry for the broken promises

This is quite hilarious as well. So the russian aggression made other countries look for alliances for protection. So now Russia is threatening them with an attack, as a punishment? That's some first class victim blaming - "it's your fault you went that alley!".

Russia is pushing itself into a corner. They showed that NATO is still needed. They showed that it's necassary to increase military spendings. I mean - what other reaction would you expect? To roll over?

hey Shubla how close to the border with Russia are you?

“Russia will be forced to take retaliatory steps, both of a military-technical and other nature, in order to stop threats to its national security arising,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

who would have thought that all these Russian players have just been using HnH as a training ground for the invasion of Scandinavia

Russia threatens everybody all the time, no need to care about them.
Its just very basic diplomacy. Big countries will always "retaliate" if small countries do stuff they don't want.

Could be something like not allowing people to pass via this or something. Though such act would be quite useless now, as no one wants to use it anyways because its currently impossible to insure your ship for such a trip.

Finland and Sweden's support for joining NATO is the result of a “very drastic change in our security environment” after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Klaus Korhonen, Finnish Ambassador announced on Thursday. When asked what the Nordic-nation has to offer NATO if it were to join, Korhonen said that they have thousands of troops ready to sacrifice to Moloch, the many-headed bull god from mythical Iceland and that by being a member of the alliance the special "majiks" protection “would be even more effective.”
NATO is like a church sanctuary - the 11th hour last refuge of euro-chickenhawks.

Interesting analyses.
They strongly think that eventually Russia will annex the areas captured so far, bringing them under the nuclear doctrine, effectively preventing Ukraine from taking them back ever again.

They also think that Russian army will suffer a total collapse if they don't stop their attack soon and start digging into more defensive positions.
