Re: Hotfix: Mine Pyres
Sheesh. Flat one day might've been a bit too far. Global leader has no advantage at all over the other folk for even fleeting moments. A scaling solution would've been more elegant.

Re: Hotfix: Mine Pyres
It all started with a forager credo really wanting that god damn "Pick up Kvann" quest for one of our guys. I've seen it, he didn't, despite having more PER*EXP than me.VDZ wrote:Great changes.
What the hell? I want the story behind this, this sounds brilliant.jorb wrote:

Well, we figured out since the item exists, - why shouldn't we be able to interact with it?
And, miraculously, you could by referencing the entity ID. So yeah, easy Kvann. #Worth

Actually, you can reroll the first quest of a credo for free nowadays, as many times as you want, but there's a cooldown between rerolls.Syrenik wrote:Amen I can completely agree... got a credo quest that requires spring time... sucks wasting 10klp everytime you get something out of season and have to abandoned the quest to possibly waste another 10klp time and time again... left mine cause I've made it to like what feels like step 8.
Does anyone know the costs for L0 -> L1 and L1 -> L2 Mineholes? I don't even have enough wax to make a single Hardened Leather yet

Their pyres should effectively insta-complete, so I think that takes care of that.Zentetsuken wrote:what about the people who have already waited 6.5 days for their pyre? can they be compensated?

Surprising it took that long to discover, it's probably been around since Hafen? Maybe it even works in Legacy?Ag_Revol wrote:It all started with a forager credo really wanting that god damn "Pick up Kvann" quest for one of our guys. I've seen it, he didn't, despite having more PER*EXP than me.

Jorb's wording of 'guessing' and this post imply there's more to the story, though:
Did people start foraging by just having scripts iterating through numbers and seeing which ones it responded to?Syndras wrote:This isn't even a slap on the wrist for people who actively abused flaws by effectively ddosing the server?jorb wrote: [*] You can no longer hack-click herbs you can't see by guessing their ID.

Nah, that was just the way we were talking about it. I'm not aware of anyone actually guessing.VDZ wrote:Jorb's wording of 'guessing' and this post imply there's more to the story, though:

Disappointing, to be honest. It would've been a really clever way to cheat.loftar wrote:Nah, that was just the way we were talking about it. I'm not aware of anyone actually guessing.VDZ wrote:Jorb's wording of 'guessing' and this post imply there's more to the story, though:
