Anyone know how to stop the settings from resetting everytime? My settings won't save for some reason.

How do I shrink the area where the various chat messages appear back to original size? It has expanded until it takes up half my game window and is twice as tall as the minimap on the side of it. It used to be the same size.

Left click + hold + drag the top middle of the chat window.

If you accidentally drag it so high that it is hiding behind the day/night image, you can fix it by deleting windows.
(That is, delete windows.json in the ender client folder.)
