have you tried not being bad at the game & killing others just so you aren't the one getting killed? also securing your base is a good skill to have - if you're saying you're not a noob yet got raided then maybe you aren't so much of a pro after all
what % is your claim at if <300% and the claim is older than a week you got owned because you let it happen LOL

It is devastating for sure. As the game now is however, there are plenty of things you can do to prevent this from happening. Just go through the list and check that you secured your base. See where they got in, and find out if that is something you could have prevented. If they got through using a bug, report that.
ppl getting baited into rant where op throws shit "muh hacks" while providing literally no reasonable evidence of his supposedly correctly set up base. I'd not be surprised if the keys were held behind cupboards, his mate sold him out or even left a normal gate open.
EDIT: btw there are some really jackass tactics to "enter" pali which can really fuck people over if someone's not aware of those
The best advice I can give you is to stop playing. This game is a playground for the most mediocre idiots out there. A very neat one, that is.
Playing more than 2-3 weeks is just borderline insane. Doing the same things over and over and over again. Just to iteratively "improve" numbers.
Play for 3-4 weeks every other year. Then walk away and check out the screenshot thread every other month or so.
Why expose yourself to the most repetitive nonsense and a community of mostly deranged clowns? Check out the content on YouTube. Most of the players are not even entertaining.
Learn to let go. Log out. Don't log in until 2024 or something. The game looks neat and everything. But you hopefully got better things to do than to search for virtual water nodes and do virtual horse breading.
Letting go of things can be very liberating. Ooooohmmm ...
