Re: Smaller map server
this thread is worth bumping
world 14 was much, MUCH too big! not even as a pvp player, it was just fucking enormous. the oceans were ridiculous, there was just too much land mass

Re: Smaller map server
idk why this thread changed topic from world size to pvp-pve.
Back to the topic, it's supposed to be mmo game, HOW DO I MEET 200 other players gathering blueberries around my base when map size is thousands x thousands pixels with 10 layers?

Size is fine. Get on a horse/boat and go exploring. There are bases everywhere.

Ha ok, I didn't say it was the purpose. If you're a lonely hermit looking for comradery, then joining a village or building near other players is an obvious solution.noindyfikator wrote:Looking for a players in an mmo, that's the purpose of mmo for sure_Scipio wrote:Size is fine. If you're having trouble finding people to kill, then its a skill issue. You don't have to spend much time to find other players. Between thingwalls, whirlpools, and charterstones, it really doesn't take long to transverse the map.

Imagine traveling over the map for more than 1 minute to find other player in a mmo game._Scipio wrote:Ha ok, I didn't say it was the purpose. You may have mistaken Haven & Hearth for a dating app. If you want to be spoon fed people to meet, may I suggest Tinder? Maybe Grindr if that's more your style?noindyfikator wrote:

The smaller the map size, the harder the squeeze on the player base. Like a sponge being drained of water.
