While it sounds good in theory, in practice it would make week 3 chalco steel production even more autistic than it is right now (and it's highly autistic already). Just make crucibles require sunstone or bloodstone.terechgracz wrote:why steel doesn't require any flux material? That's real problem of steelmaking. Chalcopyrite iron should require some catalyst to perform steelmaking cause it's so dirty. Blackore on the other hand shouldn't require any flux.

Re: QoL for steel making
Hi, I had a idea to improve the QoL of crucibles a bit, even though I don't think it should be made "too easy" to cook the steel, atleast improve the annoying parts like you having to build alot of them/taking alot of space and them only having 2 slots each therefore making them easier to refuel and maybe the reset should not be instant after the fuel runs out, the cooking meter should decrease progressively. Then I don't see any benefit of using a bot to do the refueling

This is the exact QoL update we need to start making to get rid of alts one by one.Nightdawg wrote:https://www.havenandhearth.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=71899Nightdawg wrote:- Not having time to log on a video game because you have a real life and you work is not the same thing as "lacking the skill" to achieve steel, loftar or jorb.

- Having a video game forcefully decide your daily schedule isn't a thing that attracts more players to said video game. It is a video game after all, not a job or even second life as some of the local autists religiously live up to, loftar or jorb.
- Forcing people to team up with players from other time zones and saying it's a valid argument against my first 3 arguments isn't valid. I should decide who MY friends are, based on MY OWN expectations from other people, and the time zone should not be a mandatory factor, jorb or loftar.
Inb4 loftar tells you to set up a bot to do it, or play in a 40-man village that will always have someone available to handle the pointless tedium. This is tedium. Setting an alarm on my phone is not "skill". Handling tedium is not "skill".
