4 factions are under Snail, the only ones left are Ozzy and AD, but they likely don't want to risk being next, so they are keeping their heads down.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Have you guys considered not being so annoying that everyone in the game is ok with sieging you. I recommend recruiting less retards that everyone hates next time.

basically right. Factions often like to pretend they are willing to fight evenly, or outnumbered, but at our core, people all think the same way. We like the easy rode, and there is no benefit protecting whatever bay, especially when the downside is being sieged by Snails mega faction.

Nobody would realistically take the risk, and they can't be faulted for it. Just like you can't fault london/felix/sheep from bending the knee to snail to make things as easy as possible for themselves. There's no shame in putting pride aside when it's easy.

Well, the why doesn't necessarily matter, reasons can be created later.

A good, safe strategy was found to work, and guarantees a win against brodgar/WB type villages.
