Re: Divine Intervention: Herald et Consortes vs. Dev Team
Please don’t tell me this is going to result in a wipe in the next month or two because of world imbalance and lowered player participation. It took me so long to get where I wanted to be and now it feels cheapened by this somehow? Kind of difficult to explain it.

Totally feel this vibe. I wa struggling hard to have best lp/hour in village, i was making curi myself to get this 36.4 million LP and to complete all this 8 credos (scholar is 9th atm). But with new water "exploit" from devs forgot water specific mechanics, so we now can get water twice as "cheated" one, i really think, it will be the end of this world. Too much chaos, too much disbalance all around world, and if "cheated" water was caused by cheaters, but the 500+ water was caused by devs themself, who forgot something. I will play next world, i guess, but this world is dead for me now and the only thing why i'll keep playing - because i owe my villageCodemanny wrote:Please don’t tell me this is going to result in a wipe in the next month or two because of world imbalance and lowered player participation. -------------------------------Proceedings are concluded.
- The interdict held over the village "Twix Factory" has been lifted due to lack of significant evidence of wrongdoing, appeals, and mercy, and the interdict time itself deemed punishment sufficient.
- The base water quality of the world in general will be increased by about 250 quality points, pending server restart. Note that old wells will be unaffected by this change.
- Some additional accounts were banned, some were unbanned. Thank you for your support and cooperation with these important investigations.
i think whole situation has been resolved well, good jo®b
EDIT: hopefully world will last longer now, with less exploiters

I can’t hold a candle to that level of effort but really, a lot or a little effort, it’s the value of the time spent being made meaningless due to the hearthlaw being broken as a result of bug exploits.draguslayer wrote:Totally feel this vibe. On a personal, selfish level I wish they would have left water quality alone despite the bug abuse. Exploiters can be punished all day long but when Jorb steps in and starts changing the very laws of the world we started in.. that’s when I lose faith in the longevity of the current world.

If you had dealt with this quietly and without a forum thread, I wonder how much of the game-play would really be affected by the remaining water for everyone else. My guess is probably very little, but instead you made a spectacle of it and decided upon this rash course of action? Doesn't make much sense. It definitely leaves me with far less interest in playing that's for sure.jorb wrote:
