Yes, Steam will be added as a new payment method and be available in-game (via the Steam overlay).Robertzon wrote:What are plans with steam market? Will we be able to buy hats/subs whatever with steam currency?

Nice!
Will you launch more servers if steam demand requires it? for instance, say on launch day you get the usual 2k from here, but then another 2k from steam joined would you look to launch multiple servers to deal with the influx?

How about you just read the OP, comrade? It does very explicitly explain this point.bmjclark wrote:...which one is it? Do we need to authenticate through steam or not?

While I'm not sure this was a good idea (I liked the idea of a separate world of steambabs and less multiboxing/alt abuse,) I'm placated by not having to surrender my verification shekels again.

they're still doing separate worlds, just 6 months later, so the people bored who want to start again, or started late and want to join empty can.Audiosmurf wrote:While I'm not sure this was a good idea (I liked the idea of a separate world of steambabs and less multiboxing/alt abuse,) I'm placated by not having to surrender my verification shekels again.
I like it, I hope they also run event servers from time to time.

I don't think there is a way for me to express it more clearly.OP wrote:Steam accounts and ordinary Haven & Hearth accounts are, thus, equally eligible to play W16, and you will be able to authenticate existing Haven & Hearth accounts via Steam, should you so desire, by linking them.
