Wild claim. I'm sure jorb/loftar has been keeping a track of stats and if something has been a problem they just nerf it. They see way more truth than you do when you're making these claims you really have no clue about. Usually botting has a very minimal impact and usually people blow it out of proportions in my experience in regard what you are claiming herejoojoo1975 wrote: using a Bot to acquire 5K of strength in a month seems pretty damn competitive. I didn't make that boast. Check the Imgur linksdafels wrote:Wild claim. I'm sure jorb/loftar has been keeping a track of stats and if something has been a problem they just nerf it. I mean, doesn't that also apply to what you just said? I would HOPE that loftar does have methods to keep track of certain player metrics and behaviours considering he has something for realm expansion, but that is purely speculation on your part.dafels wrote: Wild claim. Also you were a member of AD, I don't know how you can say that having played with Apxeolog for so long. He's been making bots since forever ago.

Re: At the Crossroads of what is and what could be?
They've been able to see outlier stats and shit forever that's how they banned ppl using bugged food in w10 or whenever.
Why r we even talking about this shit I'm better than every person posting here I've never lost a fight in haven history and I've never touched a bot. The copium and bullshit surrounding bots it's just sad at this point. Bitch ass noobs stop cry about it already. If someone is botting stuff like farming I'm don't cry I just think dam wish we knew how to do that cuz it's aids.
Pls point out 1 single person who is considered top tier because of bots
In terms of item ql or stats. They don't exist. Ppl like Felix who normally have best stats will tell u how he dos its by being a giga sweaty grinder. If ur weren't blaming bots you'd be blaming client or hacked or any number of things it's called being a loser the excuse doesn't matter as long as u have 1
I wish there would be more bots and easilier accessible but even if they were all made public I suspect they would probably not even amount to much anyway

I could be wrong here, but was not your group affiliated with the current water well exploit? or was it an exploit in World 10.MightySheep wrote:stuff

There's no way to prevent bots at all.
So of course I'd go for the one-char server, and sell them my botted shit.
And I feel kind of sorry guys, but internet is a world of wizards.
And of course they'll get around any kind of "shield".

ur wrong had nothing to do with me but that is a classic example of my point tho, ppl crying about a little water differential like that made any difference whatsoever to anythingjoojoo1975 wrote:I could be wrong here, but was not your group affiliated with the current water well exploit? or was it an exploit in World 10.
all the same type of ppl who cry about bots all the time, aka losers

“Just a little water differential”
Anyways all I’m saying is they should have policies in place to deal with cases of egregious levels of botting/multiboxing and if they don’t then they should also be monitoring more player metrics/data which would assist them in discerning the difference between regular player actions and non-stop repetitive botting actions.
It would be fantastic if accounts could be limited to one with multiple character slots, and it even may give them the opportunity to sell character slots if they did. However I really do not think loftar will ever bother with taking any sort of steps in that regard.

kaios is right, the 2 developers who barely have the time and motivation to roll out 1 minor update per month should be monitoring and analyzing individual player metrics and data and investigating outliers over the course of a few years so they can finally come to gather enough data and understanding of what is normal and reasonable so they can eventually recognize potential behaviours that are worthy of taking action onKaios wrote:>Abuse a game breaking bug over the course of several worlds

this is a feasible and helpful idea thank you kaios
