red apples can be squeezed out with a press, but other varieties are not, is this a bug?

i was eager to find out if there i would be a new type of alcohol.

well, that saves me 250 planting slots. and 2+ hours of pressing

I just tried to put green apples into the press with no luck.
The press was built and apples picked after this this patch which should have fixed this (viewtopic.php?f=39&t=76679)
