Squirrels and Rabbits can't be interacted with and caught

Hello,

For some reason trying to interact with "catchable" animals like rabbits and squirrels doesn't work for me.
Every guide says that to catch a squirrel, you simply need to right-click it and the character starts to run to it - for me, literally nothing happens.

Also, I'm pretty sure that I WAS able to catch a squirrel when I last played- couple days ago. No such problems existed. No idea what triggered it.
Do y'all think that there's something I toggled by mistake, or is my account bugged somehow?

Oh, I feel stupid now. I was sure I COULD pick them up before - now I think I might've found a squirrel in a container.
Taking Hunting skill fixed the issue, sorry for that.

Really it should notify you with something like "you cannot chase animals without Hunting" instead of just ignoring your inputs.
