Is the game dying already due to group/faction murder hobos?

tbh better stop playing because grief than realize hard metal content is inaccessible unless you already know the game, pay factions for tools, and still you'll need luck... this reminds me Salem, which had lots of contents too difficult to access, so players maybe quitting for that if they survive

How can you be so bad after 2 years?

I've been blessed by RNG before, since W9, my experience is that going against RNG in HH is really not worthy anymore... I changed from Salem to HH exactly because it was fair reward for casual player efforts, you could get your chalco and heavy earth so easy, I think even at level 1... nowadays you can't really commit to such faction oriented game, aint nobody got time for a game that needs to fuck up every mechanic because big groups distort everything...

tbh if devs released a hermit server without big group mechanics, remove village etc, I think it'd be a success with modern game standards... right now is just a crazy game for crazy groups of people, single players are not compatible unless you larp

In fairness, 2 years is not a long time to learn this game solo ... like thats not even tutorial length. Some people Lear faction metas quicker by playing with them but still would struggle solo. Especially if they haven't been reading every guide and keeping with meta shifts it sorta makes sense that somebody wouldn't get early game metal.

lol wut? I play this game with 1 friend and we're doing fine. Sure it's slow, we're grown ass men with jobs and family. But we managed to get bronze in like 3 weeks, and we don't even have any ore under us in the first 2 levels
I think just like any other PVP survival game, you have to accept the fact that you will never be able to compete with a group of people who outnumber you by 10. That's just how it is. Just play for fun

Most faction players would not know how to go further than Bronze stuff. Only the core crafters of those are able to play solo.
In another hand, it's really painful to play alone, and not really designed for this.

And it's not simple to go to Layer 5 for everyone, depending also if you're on good metal nodes.

And it's not simple to go to Layer 5 for everyone, depending also if you're on good metal nodes.
On my side, this world is a real pain, I got poor mines but a troll on each layer.

Not designed too but I still love playing solo its not painful if you accept that your progression will be slow.
