I still vividly remember the first time I met Razzbane, the enigmatic trader of WB. Razzbane had just set up his stall, and a crowd quickly gathered around him, drawn by the glimmer of his wares and the promise of adventure.
As I approached, I could see an array of axes displayed prominently—each one more impressive than the last. Razzbane, with his charming smile and silver tongue, boasted that these axes were crafted for greatness. “Trade your tokens for one of my axes,” he said, “and you’ll be equipped for any challenge!”
Excited by the prospect, I had been saving my tokens for weeks, believing they would lead me to something extraordinary. So, when it was finally my turn, I eagerly handed over all my tokens, envisioning the adventures that awaited me with my new axe.
With a flourish, Razzbane presented me with a stone axe. It looked rugged, but as I examined it more closely, I noticed it was chipped and worn. “This will serve you well,” he assured me, his voice dripping with confidence. “A true warrior’s tool!”
I left the stall, my heart racing with anticipation. But as I swung the axe to test it, it broke almost immediately, splintering in my hands. Confusion turned to disappointment as I realized I had traded all my tokens for a worthless piece of stone.
Days passed, and the excitement of that first encounter faded into a bitter lesson. Razzbane had vanished, leaving behind a trail of broken dreams and empty promises. The villagers shared their stories, and I learned I wasn’t the only one who had fallen for his charm.
That broken stone axe became a symbol of my naivety—a reminder that not everything that glitters is gold. My encounter with Razzbane taught me to be cautious and discerning, a lesson that echoed through the village long after he had disappeared.
