Not a crash, it just throws the "unexpected EOF from peer" on the login screen when I try to log in.loftar wrote:If you're having errors on the default client, then it's not the error quoted above. Please provide yours.Valgaav1 wrote:I'm using the default client. even went in and deleted the files and let it reinstall, no go. EOF.
I've deleted and redownloaded and it didn't help. I can see the number of players updating so it's not the connection.

Admins please erase my embarrassing crashout NOW
In other news, the double time is really nice for my anxiety. Half the chance of getting griefed now especially since we can't make our cave completely inaccessible anymore.

I believe this was done because they added thickets being able to hide you from other players. The wounds are there to make it so you cant stay in there foreverkalkkar wrote:thicket thorns too maaan. i mean i get it, grub grub strat was op but thats rough xD

Re: Game Development: World 16.1
The developer openly shows which players' side he is on in this game. The perfect gameplay would be to spend 24 hours a day playing as part of a griefer gang, driving all other players out of the game.Zephroze wrote:It was obviously an unintended safe play that most newbies didn't know, but now those griefers can run rampant at any time and offline raid people like a shitty rust server. This used to be the only reliable way to get your first palisade going and now it's just like, if you get raided early you're just left behind and might as well quit.SpacePig wrote:Now there's no way to protect yourself against robberies; for six months players complained on forums about griefers bothering them, but developers decided to make life even easier for those griefers.Zephroze wrote: you can no longer block cave entrances with a claim which is fuckinngggg bullshit.
This is far worse than Rust. In Rust, you can instantly build something using up all your collected resources, and raiding such a stockpile comes at a high cost. Here, however, you're left with no option but to process resources in publicly accessible areas. It would make sense to remove leather from the palisade crafting recipe so that building doesn’t involve placing resources in open access first.

lol did you guys seriously forget about this thread already? viewtopic.php?f=42&t=76525
Placing a claim in front of a cave is a boon to criminals more than anyone else. I really doubt many players other than perhaps some large groups bothered with that tactic at the start of world 16 anyways.

I mean, is not like mostly every change made to this game in the few years was not about giving more power to big groups over the single hermits.Kaios wrote:lol did you guys seriously forget about this thread already? viewtopic.php?f=42&t=76525

I'm surprised that a pclaim doesn't take at least two players with rage to build...
