With gates and safehouses blocked, there is no way to escape combat other than trying to outrun an enemy far enough to break the combat and tp away. I guess hermits will go full hikikomori mode this world.

Re: Game Development: World 16.2
Trade and commerce is already arguably TOO open, because it all just boils down to one market that everyone teleports to from everywhere in the world anyway. You're imagining a version of the game that doesn't exist I think.jorb wrote:I imagine that the effects will have other aspects as well, such as trade and commerce being more open, &c.

Can you confirm the map size? Just make it the same size as 16.1jorb wrote: Then we'll know that. These worlds are intended to be experimental. If we do not bush against the boundaries in any way, they aren't.

16.1 was one of the best maps to date.

Is that a typo? You meant W16.2, right? Right?
Yes. Fixed.
Thanks.
Since the goal here seems to force PvP to run its course once initiated, can I also suggest to prevent boarding large vessels while in pvp combat?

I cherish the thought that jorb and his roommate read one too many requests for a PvE-only world and, flying into a manic rage, typed out these PvP changes to the shouted tune of “that’ll show ’em!”
