Playing the game on Debian

Post by Rutilanium »

Recently i've started to play Haven and Hearth on my Debian 13 system and now running into allot of issues. Ive been using the Brodgar client using my CPU instead of using my Graphics card because i use OpelGL as my graphics API. My performance has taken a very big hit and my game fails to load textures and 3d objects which crashes my game frequently. I understand that switching to a supported graphics API whould probably fix the issue but I'm just wondering if there are any client specifically made to be run on OpelGL or any other open source driver. Im not a Linux expert so any feedback whould be worth more than gold. Thank you :D

The normal, vanilla client uses OpenGL, and I'm currently using it on Debian. What is the issue you encounter when you it?
