The least we(you) can do is give them the benefit of the doubt. It will become more clear if it is indeed still Farmchamp. Then again, if it WAS still Farmchamp, why would he even bother saying he was Farmchamp's friend? He could just leave that detail out of his story completely and play the part of the newbie just arriving.

Not that I care either way, but he said he is taking over his account, thus he will be playing his character. That makes it difficult to play the part of a newbie without an introduction post such as this. Again, I didn't know him anyway, it's just a funny happenstance.

Sure I know he's taking over his account. He doesn't necessarily HAVE to play as Farmchamp's character, though. It would be wise not to considering all the hate that Farmchamp has accumulated apparently.

After talking on the IRC, I realized I shouldn't associate myself with Farmchamp anymore. So I made a new account, declaimed OhNiner's land, and drowned him. I got yeomany today after cutting trees to build a wall on my new property for protection and lp. So... Farm-who? *wink-wink*

Also be aware that people using a custom client are currently able to view your account name as well as your character name,
Loftar's aware of that and will eventually fix it but no ETA

Just don't be a douche. It's not hard. Some people will give you shit until the end of time, but they probably would have no matter what you did. If you're consistently reasonable & kind for a month or two most players will have no problem with you
