I don't know if there are more soil spots but where i spawned has q40+ soil, Also have a cave right beside my hearth fire :D

Yeah, I spawned on a soil node too, although I can't be bothered to go digging for the full q yet.

Also, getting foraging as a new char is now just that much easier.

Was going to come back and play again, but seems Java crashes every time I try to run the jnpl. Anybody else having the same issues or is it on my end?

Soil nodes are also apparently a lot larger. The one I spawned on seems to be a couple local maps big at least.

I have not found soil under q 30 so far.
