I don't use Enders client simply because I consider it cheating. If the animal hides behind a tree, it deserves to get to kill you

By holding down shift and turning the mouse scroll wheel you can put items in or out of your inventory into or out of things like, cupboards, signposts, etc.

Think of it this way. A lot of the features in Ender's are features that should have been added to the default client anyway (minus night vision). Also, the devs use(d) Ender's, so they don't consider it cheating i guess. You'll be seriously gimped if you don't use it. Think: being snipered by someone you can't see simply because you can't zoom out :/
