Yes, but it wasn't particularly fun.Strandmullen wrote:Where snake mining not meant to exist?

Where there's a will and access to basic scripting knowledge, there's a way to bot. Lazy people will always work hard to be lazy.

Hmm jorb, can you make it so when you get a direction from rustroot it tells you the ore its pointing at? Because rustroot is painfully broken.

Wow no, the snake mine tunnels were easy to make walkable.Strandmullen wrote:I actually agree, walking in those snake-mines was also a pain in the ass.ashwolf wrote:wow nice work jorb! goodbye straight and snakeminingbots!!! One of the better fixes!
Now people will have to string supports which will be a giant pain in the arse.
Jorb, is it possible to mine without supports (or cave ins) at all, or do we need to string supports?

Re: mining
Mine without supports is basically just bringing back the straight line bot, but I do think there should be some changes because at its current state its completely dependent on luck which is kinda bad.Arcanist wrote:Wow no, the snake mine tunnels were easy to make walkable.Strandmullen wrote:I actually agree, walking in those snake-mines was also a pain in the ass.ashwolf wrote:wow nice work jorb! goodbye straight and snakeminingbots!!! Re: mining
yes. some changes to rustroot would be nice. Perhaps a prospect action that works on your perception examining the mine walls or something. Telling you about ore on the layer you're on

There's zero luck involved.
