Topic for dumping "Tree Formula" related data.
(As alternative to RoB Wiki Tree discussion page.)

(Most important are cases that fail!)
(Being able to show/check there are no typo's in your data, or other (unintentional) incorrect data, is not unimportant.)

Tree testing:
- Although single tree test data can be helpful. The Xcom way, planting multiple tree's based on the same materials(Q) & character(FarmLevel), is general more useful. The point in these multiple trees tests is to get two trees at both sides of the (-5, +2) range. (This could happen with only 2 planted trees, but it could also require planting 16, 24 or even more trees.)
- What material-Q's to use. For specific testing. The more mixed (high v low) the materials-Q's are, the better.

- Ditched [2,2,3,3,16], as it failed on one Xcom record. (Highest credible data in this set.)
- Next best match is [2,2,3,3,15], with only 3 fails. (marked in data.)
(wip: digging up other tree data.)

From w6 to w7 there was some stealth changes (or not) because the random + - is higher than it was. like +3 -10 was possible out of the most correct formula so some of us gave up in any calculations with the trees.

I can however gladly help providing data if you got some spreadsheet, if it will stay confidential ofcourse for some time.

I also think that the tree variant range changed from w6 to w7 (and only the tree variant range). But can't remember seeing anything (words or data wise) suggesting there being at some point a variant range of (+3, -10). (not that important if there is plenty of relative recent w7 tree data available to base the current conclusions one.)

I have no problem with keeping your data confidential. Although it trows op some potential road blocks, I think we can deal with those when they pup up. (If you like you can PM me your concerns and/or other reasons/details on this. Just so I get a good/better view on this part.)
