January 28th 2015: My settlement is comming along Great! I have a small island with a cozy house and and have made a friend to the south, I just got a bear tooth necklace and can finally start using the nearby Iron mine!

February 1st. I was pelting a bear with rocks from a boat when I got too close, It killed me instantly. Before I could retrive my body someone had raided it and taken everything I had. I had to dissolve my descendants claim at my doorstep to get enough lp to continue, I cannot contact my friend to the south. I have left a runestone with a message of what happoned

Februay 3rd I have regained my strength! I am back up and about. I have resumed my leather operation and am slowely getting back on my feet, still no contact with my friend

February 4th I knew something was wrong when I logged on and my leather tubs were empty...Someone came in the night and took everything. Even my boat is gone and I can no longer get off my island. My curios are gone too. I dont have enough lp to learn boatmaking.

Please tell me what to do now, Haven and hearth is really all I have to look forward to during the day (I know it sounds silly) and now everything is lost, need help. Included is a photo of the nearby area. I am west of new city, just follow the river. Any help is appreciated. I know giving my location is opening me up to raiders but I have nothing left to take.

GOLDEN RULE!!

Never stay close to a river or a lake,they are like highways,move 3 or more screens/grids away from water.

If you want to leave the island and lp for boat-building is what hinders you you could find string for a "horrible knot" or go to the swamp to find dragonfly or a toadstool.

Or you can just, you know, 'drink-swim' across the river...

1. Use Anemone client to find out your Coords on Worldmap
2. Create an Alt and spawn in the wild - try to move to your mains Coords - buy boatbuilding after you got the basic skills


or
play on with another char spawned in the wild somewhere else

@scrubs2009 I see a forest to make cone cows, dandelions, bloated bolette, horrible knots. If you have wheat and flax or hemp you can make straw dolls. There is a swamp in that picture. Capture dragonflys and forage for Lady's and Dewy mantle. Fill your inventory keep extr curios on you when you log out and in a day or two you'll get boat building.
