Simply convert the image to indexed mode, and select a low number of colors, or, even better, use the actual palette the game uses. Then just trim any remaining crap off.shubla wrote:Yes. I guess you can use magic wand on gimp to select whiteish areas. Then just use white color on your selection and you will have 100% white edges.Teleskop wrote:Is there an automatical way to do the edges like so? :o
I guess if you have some fancier program for it or are skilled you can do it some other way.
Code: Select all
GIMP Palette

Don't expect any magic, though. On more arbitrary images, even the Gimp doesn't automate the process particularly well, and I don't think I'll be able to do better than a dedicated image-processing program.DaniAngione wrote:I might be saving them for the day the system gets better :Ploftar wrote: Just don't upload anti-aliased pictures.
Is there some reasyn why we cant have all multiple million colors?loftar wrote:Don't expect any magic, though. Theoretically, you should be able produce any colour by mixing pigments of three basic colours(red/blue/yellow) in certain proportions, and with the addition of black and white for shading. I'm not sure if it would be 'realistic', as it might not be possible to mix some pigments due to chemical properties etc. And I have no idea how hard it would be to calculate exactly how much given pigments you need to get certain colour and to code it.shubla wrote: Is there some reasyn why we cant have all multiple million colours?
