I'd take superpowered vigilantes over superpowered villains any day of the week. Because while some vigilantes might be "idiotic, megalomaniacal assholes" the villains ALWAYS are.

Yeah, i meant they would need some lp for every murder, in addition to base cost of murder skill. Just making a murder-alt life a little more boring. It may look even better when wyrd is implemented.

Then again this scheme probably not "free" enough to be in the game

vigilantes are just dishonest villains, so despite your efforts youre not winning anything there

both might be out to screw you over, but dealing with an admitted bastard is better than a self-righteous jackass

I was typically a lot happier dealing with Blaze than Del.

Hell, even dealing with Raephire was better than dealing with Del.

Del was a slimy fuck :P

Hmm, interesting. Though I never suggested a system where super-powered vigilantes can terrorise and intimidate the whole community.

Had you examined my suggestions, you would have noticed that I suggested the implementation of a system where justice can be dished out as easily as the law can be broken.
I don't think it's fair that hard working, peaceful hearthlings be killed and lose all their progress simply for a murderer's pleasure.

From what I can see, all you murderers are scared of a little challenge :P

Now this guy's got something going on. Cool suggestion. At least this way the murderer would only be able to kill a minimal amount of victims.

And to all you murder alts out there, I appreciate all the work you put in creating a somewhat tense and unpredictable environment. I'm just saying.
H&H would be pretty boring and predictable without you guys (especially village life, ie: defending the village), honestly.

Just saying we need to put a limit on your feedom to make sure you don't interfere too much with other people's freedom.

You don't honestly believe that do you? It makes no fucking sense. Do I need to point out that villains are dishonest? And how would anyone but an admitted bastard have a bigger chance of getting screwed over by vigilante? And if you are an admitted bastard than who cares you deserve what you get.

Both of you are wrong. Both of these are equally as bad and equally essential to the game. Whether someone is a villain or a vigilante is entirely dependent on how you are alligned. I'm sure there are some folks that regard WV as heros and Xanadu as villains.

Conflict is essential to a good story. It's what sets this game apart from any other. There is an inherent player driven plot created entirely outside the work of the devs (if you'll forgo Jorb's involvement in Xanadu because it was little more than a fat bag of wind).

I'd take the killer that doesn't kill without a provocation any day of the week.
