Icicles is just yet another badly tuned mechanic, but it has nothing to do with this thread.

Also, as for scents, sure, we were fairly visible, but even if we hadn't left scents, we still could have gotten bashed just as easily, so it's only vaguely related.

Idiot. Leather takes a while, you can't get soak up before people have vandalism, by rushing I mean simply buying the skill. We have plenty of characters that could have, but we didn't really think about palibashing given the current soak mechanics. I'm sure we could have bashed everyone in the world yesterday if we would have thought about it.

Not really, but whatever. They knew about our base and we knew about theirs, if we had thought of Vandalism for early palibashing we would have done it to them, for sure. It's the soak mechanic that I'm complaining about, not a raider faction raiding.
