Animal statues (pic included)

Post by ven »

Statues of animals, in normal and large sizes, to build in our villages

As stya demonstrated, we're already very close to that:

So couldn't you just use those same models and let us build them in gold, iron, galena, malachite etc?

This could tie into mood mechanics.
Kind of like in Rimworld well made statues make people happy.

And we actually had some kind of mood bar in legacy.
Yormungandr, gurbibal master, drunken hunter, the thief of Constantinopol, he who never died of man`s hand, son of Severin, grandson of Yozz, Yozzik, Wengdalf. Also an owl who's watching.

P.S. More nice hats please!

It was the happiness bar. A shame Jorb didn't even include it in the list of legacy things not yet implemented. I don't think we'll be seeing that again.

Also statues of hearthlings in arbitrary clothing, &c&c. This is not entirely without its challenges, as applying a material to the various fur patches and whatnot may not have optimal results. That being said this would of course be pretty cool.

How about.... statues of animals in arbitrary clothing? Bear statue with hats? Would that be more of an incentive? :P
