idk how to explain this, I hated that this game didn't explain anything, but jorb managed to somehow explain the game in such a retarded way with those quests, I hate this even more
but that's just me

retarded self-obsessed statement: This game is all about me and everyone should be taught how to play like I do. People who don't fight me competently are playing wrong. Also I interpret human intelligence by how people interact with haven pvp, my whole life revolves around this one thing.
Actually the most biased, lost soul I've ever encountered. It really isn't that deep and it's sad that you've constructed all of your thoughts and identity around pvp in haven

u fellers get so mind-broken by the fact that most people dont care about pvp.
It must be so upsetting for you every world when people feel like they're done with their base and industry, get bored and quit.
Like how many hours have you spent patrolling rivers for fresh meat but all you find are hollow base shells, you look at the server count and its like 93.

The devs allow it to happen so it's fair and balanced.

Hint of irony here, base building and industry alone leads to boredom and quitting.beansahol wrote:

In contrast, the allure of PvP has players spending hours seeking it out even in low population environment.

People quitting after lategame industry isn't going to be solved by removing PVP. That's probably a deeper issue that needs to be addressed with additional content/realm systems/etc etcbeansahol wrote:It must be so upsetting for you every world when people feel like they're done with their base and industry, get bored and quit.
Zero, you don't need to be a PVP sweat to understand how PVP as a system works to benefit the game as a whole. There's still a lot to be done to ease friction around engaging with it, thoughbeansahol wrote:Like how many hours have you spent patrolling rivers for fresh meat but all you find are hollow base shells, you look at the server count and its like 93.

No one said anything about removing pvp. The threat of pvp is very important in this game.IsThisRad wrote:People quitting after lategame industry isn't going to be solved by removing PVP. All I said was that adding mobs that behave like players is a) probably not possible and b) would suck.
Learn to read before you stick your big nose in.
A lot of you forum autists obsess over how the game teaches mechanics. It doesn't and can't. There are so many systems and complicated things about haven - it's a wiki game through and through. Everyone knows that. You can't even have a good experience if you play on the base client.
The reason most players don't get far is they realise how much time it takes to do stuff relating to building quality/industry and opt out. That's fine. It's a very autistic, grindy game. Don't think for a second that if there were rabbits that are harder to chase, that would lead to an upick of people fighting you in steel.
