Exactly, it devalues the natural hunger recovery.HasseKebab wrote:The hunger change is basically just putting everyone who's not questing for hunger reduction/eating salt for hunger significantly behind lol
If before changes you naturally recovered 100 units of hunger (arbitrary number) and recovered 100 hunger by questing and salt (200 total), now you recover 50 hunger naturally and the same 100 hunger by questing (150 total). So a hermit that doesn't spam quests went from using 100 hunger to 50 hunger, while a faction player from 200 to 150.
Additionally, players who bot food by thousands can stuff themselves before the reset, and it will be eliminated immediately. Because the system does not adjust your hunger recovery, it sets your hunger to arbitrary number (dumb). So the difference grows even bigger (and does not really hurt fighters because there are miners who basically only eat STR food and guarantee you will not get punished for eating everything before reset). All this comes even before fep scale abuse (in reality people were getting resets as if they had 50 stats while actually they had 250).
This experiment was doomed from the start, you can't just eyeball some random numbers and put them in place without any research, and expect it to come out right.
