How does exactly symbel durability work? Is is "per use" or "per hunger" ? Especially in regards to food variety bonus - eating lot's of low hunger foods (fruits, nuts, veggies) is a good way to get stats with low hunger gain. But does it destroy symbel more because of the "uses"?
Second question, symbel seems to give dimnishinig returns, to the point where adding 9th piece of symbel did nothing to the hunger stat. does it mean stacking too many good symbels is pointless, as it doesn't change hunger almost at all?

Re: Symbel
Every time a food is eaten, there's a chance that one point of durability gets spent? At leas that's the assumption I've been operating on.
You eat berries on a separate table with dirt cheap symbel.

Stacking a lot of hunger reduction means that when symbel wears down, it takes longer to affect the value.Zepar72 wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 6:58 pm Second question, symbel seems to give dimnishinig returns, to the point where adding 9th piece of symbel did nothing to the hunger stat. does it mean stacking too many good symbels is pointless, as it doesn't change hunger almost at all?
FEP bonuses are better, but they tend to be on the harder to craft/more expensive stuff.
As previously said, you should have more than one table - their utility and ability to store (non-stacking) food is insane.

Re: Symbel
We're using 5 tables setup during eating, but the 4 side tables are only for the storage of food. By what i'm hearing, if one is to optimise eating, it's best to change tables depending what piece of food you're eating?ArgentumW7 wrote: Tue Oct 27, 2026 3:03 pm

Sounds like a lot of work . . but having silver - pearl cutlery and silk tablecloth, i don't like the idea of my village mates wrecking those eating berries
