1) More small bodies of water like ponds - not connected to rivers
2) Bring back travel weariness - You can now travel anywhere with no effort
3) No more shared thingwall locations in party
4) fix animal AI already - there is to much cheesing around (Make it harder) (but mammoth palis were fun)
5) more types of dungeons
6) less cave louse
7) give us back air locks
8) more colors for things - palis, containers etc.
9) more houses!
10) more global/regional events
11) more decorations!
12) ROB sucks
13) If You want to have more players look on pve characters not pvp ones. Make raids even harder so people will stick around and not rage quit after bored group decided to raid some hermit.
Also think about some premium stuff for paying members like on few UO shards - for example premium spawn on another continent/island on world start (if there is 1 continent spawn).

Re: wat W17 should look like
The transport system should evolve over time.
A larger population and frequent usage should lower the cost of outgoing teleports.
Kingdom residents should receive a discount when traveling within the kingdom.
We need a way to share thingwall in late game; perhaps by introducing a Tier 4 credo that grants this ability, or by providing a quest item that allows one to record a thingwall

Re: wat W17 should look like
Not really a centralized porting place, Unless they make the area a village square(kinda like a npc Village with no crim skills allowed to be used(i think mightysheep proposed this) if they are gonna make another stonehenge place as a central port place. then no. But i would love a Rather large area(like a starting continent) where Crim skills cannot be turned on.Regulus2424 wrote: Fri Oct 30, 2026 4:09 pm so Ring of Brodgar? with giant irremovable mounds of dirt everywhere, boars, scorpions and goshawks KO'ing and killing players for the first month, liftable objects of any kind being stolen?
The main reason the boars, scorps, and hawks(oh my) were a thing is because of how small the area was and the fact it was a travel point for everyone

so if someone places a village claim next to my personal claim base, with intention to revoke it, there is nothing I can do to prevent it? what if I get out of a boat to pull hair from aurochs, and as I am running back another player shows up and takes my boat? is that PvP?joojoo1975 wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 10:13 pm But i would love a Rather large area(like a starting continent) where Crim skills cannot be turned on.

do you realize how many game systems have to be revamped in order to make that desired PvE world/area of yours? how much effort needs to be spent to at least partially foolproof it? if you do, you might wanna start making suggestion about that instead
bottom line is that any sort of "PvE" world would require in-game moderation, and that's not an option because Jorbtar are neither willing nor are capable of doing it themselves and they can't hire anyone because all that they are willing to offer as payment is death threats from other players

I want TW back too, but then they should also revert province shapes. As far as trade is concerned, it would be nice if charterstones could be upgraded with localized resources to get a TW discount and thus make the market reachable by more people. And get rid of RoB teleport, please.

Might be interesting as an experimental world though. Doesn't have to last very long, just three months or less.Regulus2424 wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 10:28 pmso if someone places a village claim next to my personal claim base, with intention to revoke it, there is nothing I can do to prevent it? what if I get out of a boat to pull hair from aurochs, and as I am running back another player shows up and takes my boat? is that PvP?joojoo1975 wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 10:13 pm But i would love a Rather large area(like a starting continent) where Crim skills cannot be turned on.

Doesn't have to be world-wide either, they could limit it to just one continent.
"Haven's first PvE world!" would be great marketing material. Of course it'll crash and burn eventually but in the meantime the playerbase might get bigger.
