its funny to imagine how much dev time was wasted reading dumb ass posts like these
they should make everyone tick a box when maknig forum account to acknowledge that this is a pvp game so it doesnt need to be explained to people who dont get it, 100 different times in 100 different ways
I make this thread because I think direction of change is better when it cater to casual players. Nobody ever post any actual ideas they just cry about pvp thats probably why this world change log looked the way it did lol

Re: wat W17 should look like
bring back travel weariness and remove ring of brodgar area. travel weariness was the one thing kept me safe from being camped non stop. ring of brodgar is only useful for those who transfer stuff along the map. good for those who build 100 rock crystal claims and not much else.
what id wanna see
- travel weariness to be active again. why did we grow all that pipeweed?
- regular palisade gates (airlocks).
- shorten winter phase. it sucks.
- hunting changes are meh. dont care that much tbh.
- ore distribution sucked maybe work on that.
- pls flatten the next world a bit. 16.2 elevation and hills were a nightmare

Re: wat W17 should look like
If you're going to have a meeting place (Ring of Brodgar) then it should:
Have it's own dimension
Limit all possible interactions to: being able to see other players, spar/memorize/kin and talk to them
Liftables, carts and animals are left behind when porting there - or disallow porting when interacting with them
Give you a warning prompt telling you not to drop your items (which you may or may not be able to recover, set up whatever kills item transfer).
Teleport you to a random spot near the center
Implementing that will feel like work, so it'll be a coinflip between the developer scrapping the concept or rerunning it without changing anything
If that's implemented, then add some cool features to the place.
For instance: minigames. a fountain that you can feed coins to and tells you how much wealth it has eaten. statues indicating the lead for an attribute or ability - whether an anonymous "Swiftest has X Agility", or an ego-feeding and identifying "LINK TO RMT SERVER has X sewing". A ledger keeping track of world stats: best crop, thingwalls controlled by largest realm, dungeons cleared etc.

Re: wat W17 should look like
This is the only implementation of RoB i could agree wtih. A place to socialize, meet people, talk, etc. Etc. Not being able to be turned into a marketplace, travel shortcut or some other newbie deathzoneArgentumW7 wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2026 3:20 am If you're going to have a meeting place (Ring of Brodgar) then it should:
